The Around the Rainbow Project

Over 5 years ago, a group of community agencies in the Ottawa area joined forces to work towards improving services for LGBTTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, two spirit and Queer) families in the region. Together with the LGBTTQ community, our mission is to support the inclusion of diverse families in our childcare and early childhood educations systems, as well as within schools, and the greater community.

Project resources, including comprehensive parent and educator toolkits, are available in both French and English and are available for download from our website.  Community trainings and events are delivered in English.
